Perils are defined as the risk you face from an unspecified source or hazard (example flooding, fires).

  • Represents the general type of event that poses a threat
  • (If Projected): Specific climate-related events (e.g., floods, hurricanes, wildfires).
  • (If Realized): Actual recorded events of perils, with their frequency, magnitude, and spatial distribution.
